This Legal Notice is provided by 1972 Ltd. Co., doing business as Hilton Head Soap Co. (“Hilton Head Soap Co.,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Notice provides information regarding our intellectual property, brand rights, product disclosures, and other legal matters relating to hiltonheadsoap.com and our products and services.
This Notice supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict between this Notice and our Terms of Service, the Terms of Service will control.
We may update this Notice from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above.
1. Trademarks and Brand Rights
Hilton Head Soap Co. owns, uses, or has rights in trademarks, service marks, logos, product names, slogans, design marks, and other brand identifiers used in connection with our products, packaging, marketing, websites, and business.
These include, among others, the HILTON HEAD name, the Hilton Head Soap Co. name, our sand dollar logo and related design marks, and other names, slogans, product names, and marks used by Hilton Head Soap Co.
We do not list every trademark or brand identifier we own or use. The absence of a particular name, logo, slogan, product name, or design from this Notice does not constitute a waiver of any trademark, common-law, state, federal, or other intellectual-property rights.
Our trademarks and brand identifiers may not be used without our permission in a manner that is likely to:
- Cause confusion regarding the source of products or services
- Suggest affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, or approval
- Misrepresent a relationship with Hilton Head Soap Co.
- Dilute or impair the distinctiveness of our brand

We do not test our finished products on animals or commission animal testing of finished products.
Statements concerning ingredients, sourcing, environmental practices, or supplier practices may be based in part on information provided by suppliers and manufacturers and may change as products, materials, regulations, or industry standards evolve.
7. California Proposition 65
California Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings regarding certain exposures to chemicals identified by the State of California as causing cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm when applicable exposure thresholds and other legal requirements are met.

Our failure to identify, list, display, or enforce any trademark, copyright, trade dress, contractual, or other right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
